For our Primary School in Hamburg we are looking for a motivated and qualified


Teacher in Music
(in part-time)

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Preparation and follow-up as well as organisational and pedagogical design of lessons based on our benchmarked curriculum
  • Designing imaginative and varied lessons that get students excited and engaged in the curriculum and which help facilitate their learning of key skills and competencies and deepen their subject knowledge
  • Development and implementation of new pedagogical concepts and enrichment of teaching with digital media
  • Active support and advice for students and parents with individual challenges
  • Helping develop new ideas and improving processes

Requirements:

  • Certified training as a Primary teacher with a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Music, a Certificate of Education and a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience working in a primary school setting, ideally with teaching and lesson planning experience
  • English at C2 level and an interest in learning German with the commitment to achieve a competent level
  • Passion for teaching and the ability to provide inspiring education
  • Open to using new technology to enhance learning and for implementing innovative methodologies

There are currently around 620 children and young people learning and playing at our modern Phorms Campus Hamburg with Nursery, Primary and Secondary including Upper Secondary School with Abitur. Our concept is based on bilingual education using the immersion method, multilingualism through language-sensitive teaching, as well as personalised learning.
