Within theNXP Business Line Connectivity & Security, we are looking for a recent Graduate to join our Operations team in the Trust Provisioning (TP) department as Industrialization Engineer – IT Manufacturing Support & Enablement (m/f/d). Trust Provisioning provides trust to customers that all their code and data, including secrets, are treated confidential and authentic at NXP. The Trust Provisioning process provides services and enables chip individual customization of products using customer’s and NXP secret data. This is done in highly secure and protected environments via certified infrastructure and processes.
You will be part of a team of industrialization experts, enabling the trust provisioning directly within manufacturing process, supporting the creation and operation of test flows (probe & final test). Providing in-deep support to business groups, manufacturing and test engineers will be one of your key areas of responsibility. Furthermore, you will be involved in definition, design and development of APIs for production equipment and tools. You will work locally at Hamburg as well as worldwide in our and external mass production sites. Our team is working across multiple NXP businesses with products ranging from RFID tags to highly complex smart cards, passports and secure devices for mobile payment.

Your Job:

In this exciting role your responsibilities will include:

  • Support of test engineers & manufacturing engineers setting up and using trust provisioning solutions
  • Understand and define manufacturing requirements wrt. Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Equipment Workflow Management (EWFM) and connected process together with stakeholders
  • Understand overall TP manufacturing processes end to end, from product creation to delivery to end customer
  • Align, improve & develop TP interfaces on or linked to ATE
  • Support development of new trust provision processes, flows and applications from manufacturing perspective
  • Support risk assessment for existing and new applications, processes & changes in production (e.g. FMEA)
  • Support TP road map and improvements with focus on standardization aligned with overall TP strategy
  • Drive systematic resolution of production incidents by applying NXP quality principles (e.g. 6s, 3x5Why, 8D)
  • Close cooperation with TP-R&D and TP-applications during development and hand-over to operation
  • Close link and exchange with our Asian TP support team
  • Close link to product and test engineers and external manufacturing
  • On-site support, training, audit and assessment at internal & external manufacturing sites
  • Identify risks, find mitigations, containments actions and ensure operational quality of TP solutions
  • Document requirements, processes, solutions and share kledge in our team and external

Your Profile:

  • Master in Engineering, Technical Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing or similar education
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • od communication skills
  • Interest in industrial test and backend manufacturing of complex semiconductors
  • Programming kledge or databases competence
  • od organizational and team collaboration skills
  • Cultural awareness (Europe, Asia, US)
  • Willingness for international travel
