What you'll build

Ready to revolutionize enterprise software? As part of the ABAP AI Framework team, you will help shape how ABAP‑based enterprise applications interact with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG).

You will contribute to building a modern AI SDK for ABAP, enabling thousands of SAP developers to integrate AI features securely and efficiently into business applications.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain AI SDK components using ABAP.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and your engineering team to deliver user‑centric, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Improve code quality through reviews, refactoring, automated testing, and best‑practice adoption.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of our AI development tools and frameworks.

What you bring

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in at least one modern programming language – e.g. ABAP, JavaScript, JAVA, or Python
• Curiosity and passion for AI technology and its role in shaping the future of software development
• A collaborative working style, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for technical problem‑solving.
• Fluent communication skills in English and very good German skills
