About this role
Role:
Backend Software Engineer in the B2B Platform team, building high‑performance services for partner‑facing products in an API‑first environment with full lifecycle ownership.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design clean RESTful APIs.
- Own code from design, testing, and deployment using Gradle and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure operational health in AWS and Kubernetes, monitor and troubleshoot applications.
- Participate in code reviews, team ceremonies, and collaborate with frontend engineers.
Qualifications:
- Professional experience in Java development and a solid understanding of the Spring Boot framework.
- Knowledge of microservice architectures and REST APIs (e.g., Jackson).
- Proven track record delivering stable features in an agile environment.
- Experience with build tools like Gradle and automated testing/CI‑CD workflows.
- Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes.
- Strong English communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
