YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- You are responsible for designing, building and evolving customer-facing distributed systems for our platform on the cloud
- You work on event-driven systems and keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies
- You work in a diverse, international team using agile methodologies, constantly striving to improve team collaboration and processes
- You collaborate effectively with teammates as well as technical and business partners
- You participate in on-call rotations and are available for escalations, ensuring that our team’s critical services are up and running
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
- You have experience in a technology environment, building cloud-native applications, solving scalability challenges, and designing event-driven solutions – ideally in a dynamic startup setting
- You have development experience in Go, building distributed applications
- You have already designed distributed systems, worked on Microservices architectures, and developed large-scale interfaces used by many partners
- You are passionate about constantly learning new skills and improving yourself; you also bring a coaching mentality and share your knowledge with the team
- You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with technical as well as non-technical stakeholders
