About this role

We help the world run better. At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What you'll build

In this position, you support the optimization and further development of AI functionalities within Joule for Developers. You contribute by curating data for AI features, aligning use cases across teams, and creating developer guides and best practices. Your work helps present knowledge in a clear and accessible way, enabling people to work more efficiently and adopt new technologies more easily.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Curating and structuring data for AI functionalities
  • Aligning and standardizing use cases across team boundaries
  • Creating developer guides and best practices
  • Developing learning and training materials
  • Supporting knowledge sharing and user training

What you bring

  • Enrolled student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences. Field of study: Computer Science, Business Informatics, Education, or related areas
  • Basic knowledge of software development and interest in AI technologies
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • You work carefully, stay well organized, and can present complex information in a clear and understandable way
  • Experience in writing, didactics, or creating learning materials is a plus, but not required
  • Working on-site in Walldorf is required; limited hybrid work is possible

Full time intern (f/m/d) to support the team is preferred.

Where you belong

You will be part of the ABAP Language Team, the team responsible for developing the ABAP programming language. ABAP is the foundation of many SAP business applications and is used by millions of developers around the world every day.

Our team works on the language itself, the compiler, and the runtime environment. This means we build the technical foundation that allows companies to create stable, secure, and modern applications — in the cloud and on premise.
