What you'll do:

We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Java Developer, who is curious to learn and likes to work in a SaaS Commerce team delivering cloud software. You’ll design, build, test, deploy, and support high-quality components with a strong emphasis on business value, performance, security, and maintainability.

As a member of our Team, you will contribute to our SaaS commerce team by delivering features end‑to‑end across the stack. You’ll design, build, test, deploy, and support high-quality components with a strong emphasis on testability, performance, security, and maintainability.

As a Java Developer you will work in a Scrum team with a diverse mix of highly motivated young and mature talents focused on Java and cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure, Docker and Kubernetes with the following tasks:

• Develop cloud‑native applications on SAP Commerce Cloud
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs integrating Commerce systems and third‑party services
• Develop backend services using SAP CAP with Java and Spring Boot
• Design, write and maintain automated tests and support CI/CD pipeline
• Ensure high quality through unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests
• Support front‑end development using e.g. Angular
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and bug fixing activities
• Collaborate with team members in daily stand‑ups and sprint ceremonies
• Maintain and enhance technical documentation as part of development tasks
• Cooperate with members of the wider product development team across multiple international locations
• Continuously learn and self‑develop
• Stay current with emerging technologies and tools relevant to SAP and cloud development, especially using AI capabilities

What you bring:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in quantitative field – preferably Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on professional Java experience
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and system integration
• Hands‑on experience with containerization and cloud‑oriented technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Git and CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Good communication skills and fluency in English
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies, frameworks, etc.
• Capability and willingness to work effectively in a team and follow best development practices
• Experience with Frontend development (e.g. Java Script, Angular and modern web technologies) is a plus
