Product Security Expert (f/m/d) for the SAP BTP Multi Channel Delivery & DC Buildout team

What you'll do:

Summary: To drive the development and deployment of Multi Cloud based solutions including Sovereign and Private Clouds setups we are looking for an enthusiastic Product Security Expert who will apply Cloud security expertise to identify, assess, evaluate and control security requirements as they relate to enterprise systems, applications, data, assets and people across multiple cloud environments.

The Role:

As a Product Security Expert, you will work on security requirements engineering, architecture and design guidelines and test of cloud security requirements in sovereign and private cloud setups focusing on specific requirements from customers who have to apply higher security and secrecy levels when utilizing SAP cloud products. You will represent our business unit in audits and compliance activities and work closely with several SAP security teams. You will act as one of our contacts for security related questions and incident reports and collaborate closely with development teams.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field 10+ years of experience in designing & implementing security controls for cloud Infrastructure like AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing security concepts for SAP cloud products e.g. SAP Hana Cloud, SAP Analytic Cloud, Cloud Foundry, SAP Cloud Integration
• Extensive background and knowledge of SaaS applications, Proxy/API architecture, Cloud security, Identity Access Management, Data Compliance Management, SSO
• Knowledge of SAP BTP security services and/or on-premises security products is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience in context of “BSI Grundschutzverordnung”
• Strong software security and/or operational security knowledge (e.g., threat modelling, code review, vulnerability testing, secure programming).
• Good skills in project management, analytical thinking, problem solving and presentation
• Good communication skills with partners, customers and stakeholders
• Fluent German and English language skills are mandatory.

The SAP BTP Multi Channel Delivery & DC Buildout team is part of SAP BTP Foundation Unit and is responsible for driving and executing the SAP Business Technology Platform strategy for deploying SAP cloud products into sovereign and private environments. The team has end-to-end ownership of the complete topic to ensure an excellent customer experience for the SAP BTP Sovereign Cloud product portfolio.
