We’re looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Unified Sovereign Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering team—a newly formed group focused on delivering secure, scalable, and compliant cloud solutions across hyperscaler platforms.

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you’ll be a key contributor to the Unified Sovereign Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team, responsible for designing, provisioning, and maintaining cloud environments across AWS, GCP, Azure, and OpenStack. You’ll also ensure these environments are optimized for hosting mission-critical SAP applications such as BTP, HCM, S/4HANA PCE, IBP, and HANA.
What you'll do:
- Architect and manage cloud account structures across hyperscalers, with deep expertise in at least one (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Architect and manage infrastructure within SAP’s private cloud
- Automate cloud provisioning and lifecycle management for SAP workloads
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
- Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, reusable cloud solutions
- Ensure security, compliance, and cost efficiency using modern cloud governance tools
- Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform and Ansible
- Monitor and enhance performance, availability, and security of cloud and SAP environments
- Document and standardize operational processes across platforms
- Act as a technical SME, translating complex concepts for diverse stakeholder
What you bring:
Technical Expertise:
- 7+ years in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles
- Deep knowledge of at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with others, including OpenStack
- Experience supporting SAP applications in cloud or hybrid environments
- Strong CI/CD pipeline experience (Concourse, ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD)
- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitOps workflows
- Solid Linux administration and cloud security best practices
- Programming experience in Python, Go, or similar languages
- Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch, Datadog)
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor peers
- Strong documentation and SOP development skills
- Strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical audience
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel 25%
- Willingness to go through personal security clearance (Government process)
