Our cross-functional engineering teams develop scalable and secure microservices and APIs for our product's different domains. As a Fullstack Engineer, based in Berlin, you are not only an individual contributor but also support your team with a strong customer-centric mindset and a drive to take on ownership over product capabilities or technical components in the back end and/or front end.

Your team is one of the functional teams focusing on guiding customers through their technology transformation & assessment.

WHAT IS WAITING FOR YOU?

  • Collaboratively shape the products we build with a product-minded engineering mindset
  • Delivery and execution of scalable & secure backend microservices in NodeJS
  • Building great user interfaces based on micro frontends with Angular
  • Continuous improvement of our micro frontend/backend architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and codebases
  • Taking over ownership and driving topics that you are passionate about and that contribute to our product vision
  • Design and Implementation of state-of-the-art REST APIs

WHAT IS OUR STACK?

  • Node.js microservices (Typescript)
  • Angular (Micro) Frontends (TypeScript, Tailwind, NgRx, Nx, Jest)
  • PostgreSQL
  • Infrastructure based on Azure ecosystem, Kubernetes, & Docker
  • API technologies such as REST and GraphQL
  • Event-driven architecture
  • Modern CI/CD toolchains (e.g. GitHub Actions, Feature Toggling)
  • Monitoring & Alerting using Instana
  • Product Usage Tracking using Amplitude & Azure Log Analytics

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for someone who likes to:

  • Live by our engineering values
  • Solve architectural challenges and deliver customer value in a SaaS product environment
  • Collaborate with Product Management & UI/UX teams as part of a customer-focused team
  • Turn ambiguity of complex and fuzzy requirements into working software solutions
  • Ship code daily or even more often
  • Take ownership of entire functionalities and lead technical topics
  • Build state-of-the-art & high-quality SaaS products
  • Continuously learn, be proactive and curious
  • Mentor other team members & support them to grow
  • Work in a fast-paced, agile environment

Additionally:

  • 3+ years of working experience with Node.js and/or Angular & Typescript (SaaS environment preferably)
  • Open communication style, strong spoken and written communication skills in English
  • Technical leadership skills

Bonus points:

  • Looking to expand your role from either frontend or backend into full-stack
