Senior Frontend Engineer - ZEOS (all genders)

Role: Senior Frontend Engineer in the B2B Platform team, responsible for building and scaling partner‑facing web applications within Zalando’s ecosystem. Responsibilities: - Design and develop high‑quality, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript. - Contribute to the evolution of Micro Frontend (MFE) and SPA architecture, focusing on modularity and performance. - Own the full development lifecycle: architectural design, API contracts, testing, deployment, and production monitoring. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and work with AWS/Kubernetes environments. - Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement the Design System and ensure UI/UX consistency. - Mentor peers through code reviews and pair programming. Qualifications: - Expert proficiency in TypeScript and React, with experience in modern build tools such as Webpack and the Node.js ecosystem. - Practical experience with Micro Frontend architectures and complex state/routing management. - Strong understanding of web security and authentication flows (e.g., Okta, OpenID Connect). - Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and automated testing/CI‑CD practices. - Agile mindset, excellent communication skills, and a continuous‑learning attitude.
