Senior Fullstack Developer (f/m/d) - SAP LeanIX

What you’ll do:

We are looking for a motivated Senior Fullstack Engineer to join us on our journey to grow and achieve our goals. You are the perfect candidate if you are passionate about delivering customer value, technical excellence, and working collaboratively as part of a diverse team. The position is mainly focused on frontend related topics with smaller parts in backend contribution.

At SAP LeanIX Product and Engineering, we embrace a hybrid remote work model, which allows us the benefits of in-person collaboration along with the flexibility to work from home as needed, however, we expect our employees to come to the office multiple times per week

The Role:

• Contribute Across the Stack: Develop dynamic, scalable interfaces using Angular, RxJS, and modern frontend tools, while contributing to backend services with NodeJS, NestJS, REST and GraphQL.

• Focus on Performance: Build scalable, responsive, and accessible solutions to ensure smooth user experience and backend efficiency.

• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, UI/UX, and other engineering teams, to deliver impactful, customer-centric solutions.

• Enhance Our Tech Stack: Participate in discussions on industry trends and support the evolution of our tech stack and best practices.

• Learn & Share: Grow your skills by collaborating with teammates and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement

• 4+ years of full-stack Typescript development experience, delivering scalable, maintainable, and reliable applications.

• Proficiency with Angular or other frontend frameworks with a willingness to learn Angular during onboarding.

• Experience with NodeJS, ideally but not necessarily using NestJS, building scalable, secure microservices.

• Proficiency with RESTful APIs and GraphQL, designing data flow solutions at scale.

• Mastery of testing tools like Vitest, Jasmine, Jest, Karma, or Cypress, promoting a test-driven development culture.

• Great knowledge of CI/CD tools and scripts such as GitHub Actions, etc.

• You strive in agile environments, driving high-impact projects to completion while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable code.

• Demonstrate strong collaboration skills, working seamlessly across teams and ensuring clear communication to achieve business and technical goals.

• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and excellence, while promoting team development and growth.

• English language skills, both written and spoken

Bonus points:

• Used or even developed MCP with agentic concepts.

• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and LLM Framework with agentic concepts.

• Proficiency with relational or NoSQL databases, including performance optimisation and architecture.

• Python experience
