About the role

As a member of our Search Team, you’ll be an important contributor on our SaaS commerce platform, delivering features end-to-end across the stack. You’ll design, build, test, deploy, and support high-quality components with a strong emphasis on business value, performance, security, and maintainability.

Role and task

• Develop cloud native application in SAP Commerce Cloud landscape.
• Contribute to building APIs and interfaces to enable smooth communication between AI services and commerce systems.
• Build search capabilities based on various tools and technologies, including Solr, OpenSearch and AI based semantic search.
• Deliver and evolve backend services in Java, with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud/Spring Security, exposing well-documented REST APIs.
• Write robust automated tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business goals.
• Monitor and optimize solution integrations for performance and reliability.

What you bring

• Proficiency and good knowledge of Java programming (2+ years).
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and system integration.
• Experience in a Git and Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) environment, including familiarity with related processes and tools.
• Solid knowledge of cloud-oriented technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• A strong commitment to consistently producing high-quality, functional outcome.
• Capability and enthusiasm to innovate and adapt to evolving technologies, frameworks, and more.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
