Key Account Manager Immersive Experience - CRM / Sales / Reporting (m/f/d)


The mission of the Key Account Manager (m/f/d) is to develop the business by defining a wholistic account strategy for defined key accounts. You are the main contact person for those key accounts and will report to the Sales Director.

Your Responsibilities

The key areas of responsibility of the Key Account Manager (m/f/d) are to identify potential key accounts and to manage, develop & grow existing large accounts that have a large, potentially multinational footprint.
This is a management position as it requires accountability for large, multinational accounts and due to the impact of such large accounts.

  • You maximize sales and total key account potential
  • You get in-depth insights in and kledge of key accounts’ strategy & business approach
  • You manage the accounts strategically & tactically
  • You build an intimate long term relationship with all relevant stakeholders and ‘connect’ communications between our representatives and equivalents within the Key Account between different departments, functions and levels
  • You detect and develop new (strategic) business opportunities within the existing accounts
  • You develop, implement and manage key account plans and processes according to the key account planning methodology
  • You secure and make key account(s) information available internally in accordance with company processes and using specific tools (e.g. CRM)
  • You provide key input on financial and logistics forecasting
  • You steer and influence other internal stakeholders (sales staff, R&D, other departments, divisions, regions) in order to realize key account plans and objectives
  • You suggest optimization of company processes and organization in function of the key accounts
  • You acquire & develop new accounts
  • You are responsible for growing our projection and image processing sales revenue and funnel by actively targeting your key accounts;
  • You identify new opportunities for all products within your defined customer list and transfer it to the appropriate specialist team;
  • You are comfortable interacting with different roles and levels at key accounts (Procurement, Project manager, Prescriber, Technical Manager, IT/AV Manager, C-Level)
  • You develop strong interlinks with the other local team members, including pre-sales, consultant team, service team and other sales specialists
  • You will monitor technology and market factors and provide market intelligence to Sales Management, Segment marketing and product management
  • You will identify showstoppers to potential opportunities and report back to our Service or Segment managers & Sales Director for additional support
  • You will report on weekly visits to the regional sales director and manage funnel as per company CRM rules
  • You develop strong relationships within the Sales Teams in different countries, as well as with functional leaders in Belgium Corporate HQ to ensure harmonious working relationships

Your Profile

  • You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in business, economics, marketing, engineering or equivalent, as well as about 7 years experience in sales, account management or market/business development in the corresponding industry (experience in the relevant business area is a plus)
  • You are able to influence people and have strong relationship building skills
  • You distinguish yourself by analytical skills as well as excellent communication skills including written, verbal and presentation
  • Fluency in English is required
  • You have a track record of indirect end user sales success working in a technology company within the professional audio-visual sectors and ideally an experience within themed entertainment or simulation markets
  • You have a good understanding of IT, UCC & AV technologies
  • You can adopt a disciplined and organized approach in regards to your travel and CRM pipeline management
  • You enjoy to work in a team and can effectively work across organizational and national boundaries
  • You have a self-assured and outgoing personality with the ability and adaptability to work practically, reliably and flexibly, without the need for on-going support
