YOUR FUTURE ROLE
As Director, Go‑To‑Market Strategy Projects, you will be a core contributor to SAP’s Go‑To‑Market strategy and advise Senior Executives on key strategic decisions. As an individual contributor in a highly dynamic team, you will support strategy & transformation initiatives, conduct analyses delivering new insights as basis for strategic recommendations, and deliver special projects for the Go‑To‑Market Strategy & Operations Lead and the respective Executives of Customer Success, Marketing, and Customer Services & Delivery.
Main responsibilities
- Own and develop the design of comprehensive GTM strategies aligned with SAP’s overarching business goals and objectives.
- Lead high‑impact strategy projects, leveraging deep market insights and strategic analysis to craft and execute comprehensive go‑to‑market strategies that drive growth and competitive advantage.
- Identify opportunities for working model refinements, process improvements, innovation, and efficiency across our GTM organization.
- Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership on market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices to inform decision‑making.
- Create a strong interlock between Customer Success, Services & Delivery, and other Board Areas to align GTM strategies and strategic priorities, creating an end‑to‑end vision and strategy.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership and other key stakeholders to drive bookings, revenue, and adoption growth.
YOUR PROFILE
- Solid experience in top‑tier management consulting or corporate (GTM) strategy, ideally within SaaS or enterprise technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; advanced degree (MBA or PhD) preferred.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to turn insights into clear, actionable plans.
- Deep understanding of GTM planning, sales motions, and distribution models; strong knowledge of SaaS commercial and operating model is a plus.
- Proven track record in leading cross‑functional, global initiatives and influencing senior leadership in complex, matrixed environments.
- Executive presence with excellent communication and decision‑framing skills.
- Passion for high‑impact work, a strong sense of ownership, and a bias for action.
- A customer‑centric, collaborative mindset with resilience, adaptability, and integrity.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

We collaborate closely to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive SAP’s go‑to‑market success.
