THE ROLE AND THE TEAMThe B2B Platform is the engine that enables our partners to integrate and grow within the Zalando ecosystem. As a Frontend Engineer, you will join a cross-functional team dedicated to building our B2B Portal and specialized Portal Applications. You will work in an API-first environment where your goal is to turn complex business logic into intuitive, high-performance user interfaces.In this role, you will work alongside Senior Engineers and Product Managers to implement new features and improve our frontend landscape. You will participate in the design, testing, and deployment of your features using our CI/CD pipelines.Ensure Technical Health: Participate in code reviews and help maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, and performance.Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with Backend Engineers to define API contracts and with Designers to ensure a seamless and accessible user experience.Learn and Improve: Proactively stay updated on modern web trends and contribute to the team’s continuous improvement by sharing your findings and suggesting optimizations.WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IFSolid Frontend Foundations: You have professional experience with React and TypeScript, and you are comfortable working with modern CSS/HTML and build tools like Webpack.
