About this role

Job Summary:

As a Vice President in our Global Corporate Banking team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our business across CEE region for our CEE headquartered clients. Based in Frankfurt, you will be part of our Large Cap coverage team & you will manage a broad suite of products, in close alignment and cooperation with product and global coverage partners.

Job responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for corporate clients on a broad range of topics, providing proactive, solutions-oriented coverage.
  • Develop, broaden, and deepen relationships with a portfolio of CEE-headquartered clients in partnership with Senior Coverage Bankers.
  • Leverage the bank’s global network of coverage and product partners to manage client relationships across geographies.
  • Identify and address client needs with product partners; coordinate and tailor the marketing and delivery of appropriate solutions.
  • Originate and execute the full suite of corporate banking products, including cash management, trade and working capital finance, debt capital markets, lending, markets/derivatives, securities services, and asset management products.
  • Lead client onboarding and present business and credit cases to internal partners and committees; prepare high-quality internal documentation (e.g., Account Plans, Balance Sheet Committee memos, relationship reviews).
  • Act as first line of defence for continuous credit quality monitoring, risk identification, and escalation in line with internal policies.
  • Maintain high standards of execution discipline, ensuring timely follow-ups, pipeline management, and coordination across cross-functional teams.
  • Travel frequently across the CEE region (and as needed to other hubs) to engage clients and internal stakeholders

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Outstanding academic record with prior corporate banking or investment banking experience.
  • Demonstrated experience covering corporate clients in the CEE region with direct relationship management and coverage responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to build trusted senior client relationships, originate new business, and close transactions; strong commercial judgment.
  • Ability to build internal networks and operate effectively in cross-cultural, cross-border environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of core corporate banking products and how they apply to multinational and regional clients.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with strong attention to detail and execution.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and consistently high standards of personal integrity and judgment
  • Agile, self-motivated operator comfortable in a fast-moving, multi-country coverage environment.
  • Fluency in English is required. Local language capability—especially Czech—is a strong plus; additional CEE languages are advantageous.
