Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services creates digital solutions of the future that help B2B customers to increase their process quality and efficiency, improve customer experiences, act more sustainably or develop new business models. It is based on real-time data from measuring points and signals inside and outside of Mercedes-Benz vehicles worldwide. This data is used to generate added value for products and processes in companies from a wide range of industries. The secure and responsible handling of data is hereby the basis for the acceptance of services around connected driving. The Stuttgart-based company has about 75 employees working on the development, operation and sales of digital data-based products.

Tasks

Your responsibilities:

• Translating complex business requirements from Sales, Marketing, and Support into technical concepts and scalable, future-proof solutions
• Analyzing complex business processes and advising stakeholders on the design of functional and process-related requirements
• Designing and managing the integration of Salesforce into the company-wide enterprise architecture to ensure seamless system interaction
• Designing and implementing interfaces to connect Salesforce with additional technologies and platforms
• Making fundamental architectural decisions for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud and driving their continuous evolution
• Designing and establishing automated tests to ensure the quality of Salesforce solutions and integrating them into existing CI/CD pipelines
• Conceptualizing and implementing complex requirements within the Salesforce platform
• Developing high-quality Apex code in accordance with modern development and integration standards
• Ensuring solution quality through code reviews and systematically implementing technological improvements

Qualifications

Your profile:

• Several years of professional experience as a Salesforce Developer, Solution Architect, or Consultant
• In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including integration technologies, platform limits, and best practices
• Strong expertise in common Salesforce Clouds as well as experience with CI/CD, Apex, and modern DevOps processes
• Ideally, Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or relevant Developer certifications
• Experience with automated testing in the Salesforce environment (e.g., Apex tests, integration tests) and a strong focus on quality
• Proven experience working with agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) and in interdisciplinary teams
• Strong analytical and methodological skills combined with excellent communication abilities, empathy, and a customer-oriented mindset
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• High level of initiative, team spirit, and a proactive working style
• You are curious, eager to learn, and continuously expand your professional knowledge
• Strong communication and persuasion skills to represent technical solutions across departments
