YOUR FUTURE ROLE

The Global Delivery Hub – Spend and Finance Management drives innovation through SAP Cloud solutions, enabling customers to automate procurement processes, leverage AI-driven insights, and enhance supplier collaboration. As a Senior Consultant (f/m/d), you will lead the implementation of intelligent SAP Procurement solutions, primarily integrated with SAP ERP landscapes.

You will:

  • Advise customers on intelligent, end-to-end cloud procurement solutions, including SAP ERP, SAP Ariba (Next Gen), SAP Fieldglass, and integrations with non-SAP systems
  • Embed AI-driven capabilities (e.g., guided buying, predictive analytics, automation) into procurement processes to enhance efficiency and decision-making
  • Leverage SAP AI services to design innovative, user-centric, and context-aware procurement experiences
  • Lead the Procurement Technology workstream, ensuring successful, on-time delivery of complex transformation programs
  • Recommend innovative and flexible solution approaches that accelerate deployment and maximize business value through AI and automation
  • Facilitate customer workshops to gather, define, and document business, technical, and AI-driven requirements
  • Manage multiple projects across programs, collaborating with cross-functional and global stakeholders
  • Drive architecture and solution design discussions, including AI integration and extensibility via SAP BTP
  • Oversee testing cycles, including validation of AI-driven scenarios, from implementation through deployment
  • Lead and influence project teams, ensuring alignment, accountability, and successful outcomes
  • Manage escalations, provide expert consulting support, and contribute to pre-sales, including AI-led solutioning and value articulation

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Very solid professional experience, including at least 4 years in IT consulting (SAP development or consulting preferred)
  • Strong experience with SAP ERP / S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, SAP BTP, and AI capabilities within SAP ecosystem (e.g., Joule, embedded AI, automation tools)
  • Hands-on or conceptual experience with Joule Studio and AI-driven application design is highly desirable
  • Solid understanding of operational and strategic procurement processes, with exposure to intelligent/automated procurement
  • Proven expertise in SAP Procurement Cloud solutions and delivery methodologies
  • Experience leading workshops, including AI use-case identification and value discovery sessions
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience leading global/virtual teams across regions
  • Ability to make decisions independently within project scope and responsibility
  • Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and supply chain domain is a plus
  • Fluent in English; German is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel (30–50%) across MEE and EMEA
