As a Trainee ADAS & Body Electronics Development, you will be part of the core E/E development team for Mercedes-Benz Vans. Our mission is to enhance our vehicles with cutting‑edge Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and state‑of‑the‑art electronic and mechatronic body functions. You will contribute to the entire development process – from system specification to real‑world validation. By understanding customer needs, you will help translate them into the best possible technical solutions. Collaboration is key: you will work closely with international partners and represent our requirements in a fast‑changing environment. In addition, you will coordinate development activities across the value chain, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders from product management to operations and after‑sales.
Qualifications
- An above‑average degree (master, MBA or doctorate) in electrical engineering, cybernetics, automotive engineering or comparable
- Maximum of 3 years of professional experience (apart from studies)
- At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work and travel)
- Strong affinity for digital technologies and enthusiasm for future trends
- We value applicants who show a strong sense of social responsibility
- Excellent English and German skills (C1)
- You are eager to shape the transformation at Mercedes-Benz and take responsibility
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with exceptional analytical abilities
- You demonstrate strong teamwork skills who motivates others to achieve their goals
