About this role

A Japanese trading house located in France is currently recruiting a Sales Representative to work in their Dusseldorf office.

In this role, you will be responsible for expanding sales of a Japanese wedding dress brand in Europe while building relationships with customers and implementing strategies.

The ideal candidate should have strong B2B sales experience in the wedding industry, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to achieving sales targets.

Sales Representative Main Responsibilities:

  • Promote Japan's unique values and expand sales of the wedding dress brand in Europe
  • Develop and maintain relationships with B2B clients, including bridal boutiques and department stores
  • Train, support, manage, and coordinate sales agents across Europe
  • Propose brand concepts and product value to clients
  • Conduct market research for competition analysis and trend identification
  • Set annual sales targets and implement innovative strategies for growth
  • Plan and manage promotional activities to enhance brand visibility
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle, including contract negotiations and after-sales support
  • Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to meet market needs and drive customer satisfaction
  • Utilize data-based analysis to improve sales activities
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and forecasts

Sales Representative Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 5 years of sales experience in the wedding dress industry
  • Hold valid Driving license in Europe
  • Network of wedding dress customers in the European market
  • Fluency in English and German/French/Italian
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and deal-closing skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently
  • Appreciation for Japanese aesthetics and culture, with the ability to communicate its value
