Role: Senior Account Development Manager (all genders) - ZEOS
Responsibilities:
- Drive Sales Strategy & Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities (prospecting) while identifying growth potential within existing partners worldwide. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the contract and digital logistics sector.
- Manage the Full Sales Cycle: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, leading the qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closing of deals. Ensure consistent follow-up and timely closure of opportunities, progressing them to signed contracts.
- Build C-Level Relationships: Develop account strategy plans and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders up to C-level. Gain an in-depth understanding of each partner’s supply chain to provide tailored ZEOS solutions that increase efficiency, competitiveness, and profit.
- Own Financial Performance: Ensure gross margin and revenue targets are met through cost control, rigorous forecast management, and annual price negotiations.
- Collaborate & Solve Complexity: Work closely with logistics, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Resolve critical issues with a high level of complexity and de-escalate in a timely manner.
- Report & Optimise: Provide accurate and concise reporting on a monthly basis regarding key actions, forecasts, and ongoing opportunities. Undertake special projects to support the development of sales team processes and practices.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of sales experience with a strategic scope, and a demonstrable track record of negotiating and closing deals and meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Extensive industry experience from the field of logistics (contract/digital) and/or key account management in e-Commerce.
- Highly organised, autonomous, and capable of navigating in a fast-paced, exciting, and entrepreneurial organisation.
- Able to build strong relationships with key decision-makers up to C-level and effectively present tailored solutions.
- Confidently interpret data, draw conclusions, and create accurate sales forecasts and presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
- Fluent in English; German skills are a must.
