Your responsibilities

Manage all Benchmarking and Target Costing activities during the bid phase worldwide in close cooperation with all local organizations involved.

Your responsibilities extend to the following:

Market analysis related to Target Cost
Development and implementation of Target Costing Principles
Preparation and implementation of algorithm to calculate Target Cost
Benchmarking of Cost Estimates.
Plausibility check of quantities and Man-hours.
Challenging the price basis.
Develop KPI’s for the functional performance
Actively support continuous benchmarking of functional performance, capabilities and cost basis in order to ensure ‘best in class’ in the area of responsibility
Ensure implementation of harmonized functional support standards, procedures, processes, and tools in the area of responsibility
Participate in functional specific lessons learned process and continuous improvement process

Your profile

Professional Experience

University degree (or similar) in engineering or management
Several years of professional experience in Plant Engineering
Several years of experience in development, roll-out and implementation of harmonized tools in a globally operating company
Excellent knowledge of engineering tools/software, Primavera and Microsoft Office tools
Very good English language skills and preferably in an additional foreign language
