About this role
We help the world run better. At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
What you’ll do
As a Business Support Specialist for Provisioning & Fulfillment, you will work exclusively with SAP internal colleagues from Fulfillment, Provisioning, Sales & Customer Success to clarify and resolve data inconsistencies for cloud systems.
You are a part of a team and expected to work efficiently within and across the organization – this means collaborating with direct and extended peers but also understanding the network to build relevant relationships and know‑how. Furthermore, you will develop your process, technology, and business knowledge not only to resolve but also proactively position the topics you support.
As a Business Support Specialist, you work out of an automated ticketing system but may engage in consultations or email escalations.
- Analyze data in the system to understand the current state of a customer’s tenant with accuracy, thoroughness and a high level of quality.
- Initiate the appropriate action (e.g., reach‑out, fast‑track) in each case reviewed.
- Communicate information and present options effectively to the Account Team to facilitate efficient and fast decision‑making.
- Transform sales decisions or data evidence in the system into the appropriate transaction (e.g., closure, blocking).
- Champion our systems, processes, data, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Participate in a cloud‑oriented essential mission that has the ultimate goal to make SAP more compliant in its provisioning and fulfillment activities.
- Ad hoc: collaborate with other team members, continuously build know‑how, and contribute to the evolution of our systems and processes by sharing gaps observed in daily activities. Define and share best practices.
