About this role

Your tasks

  • As part of your thesis, you will carry out a feasibility study on the “Workplace of Tomorrow”. The focus will be on the design and evaluation of a digital assistant that supports purchasing processes and assists buyers. The aim of the work is to analyze how an AI-based agent can be integrated into a buyer's daily tasks.
  • You will focus on the technical requirements for integrating (e.g. accessing internal systems, data sources, interfaces).
  • In addition, you will have the potential to automate typical purchasing tasks - what can be done today, what can be done in the future, what technology requirements are necessary.
  • Furthermore, you will be able to generate and visualize recommendations for actions such as user interaction - how the agent communicates with the buyer, and feasibility assessment - what tools, interfaces, technologies and data are required.
  • Last but not least, the results will be documented in the form of a structured feasibility study, including recommendations for prototype implementation.

Your profile

  • Education: studies in the field of Business Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or comparable
  • Experience and Knowledge: initial experience of process analysis, artificial intelligence or software architecture is an advantage; ideally initial exposure to tools such as Synthesia, Power Automate, APIs or low-code platforms
  • Personality and Working Practice: you are able to organize tasks independently and communicate your ideas clearly both orally and in writing
  • Enthusiasm: interest in future trends, automation and digital assistance systems
  • Languages: good in German and/or English
