Warehouse Specialist (m/f/d)

Applicants must have a valid working permit in Germany or European Union Overview A Japanese airfreight forwarding company located in North Düsseldorf is looking for a Warehouse Specialist (m/f/d) to join their team. This business has existed in Germany for nearly 40 years with 4 different locations throughout Germany and is considered one of the main 5 players in the industry. Job Responsibility - Physical inbound goods handling and goods receipt - Physical put-away/storage operations - Packing/repacking - Unloading incoming shipments - Scanning incoming goods according to ASN (using RF scanners) as well as outgoing goods - Picking and assembling goods from the warehouse - Loading trucks - Checking and sorting cargo for shipment and loading onto trucks - Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and quality standards - Inspecting shipments for external damage - Performing internal carton inspections for quantity and quality - Disposal of waste materials Requirements - 3 years or longer experience in warehousing/picking tasks - Forklift License (must) - Basic knowledge of WMS and MS office systems - Ausbildung in warehousing is a plus - High fluency in German and conversational, or higher level of English (English is used only for an internal communication.)
