Senior Customs Manager (all genders)

Role Senior Customs Manager (all genders) responsible for import and export customs processes, ensuring successful customs checks and high-quality procedures, while leading projects and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities - Lead and support customs inspections for both import and export. - Drive and implement process improvement projects across interdisciplinary teams. - Provide training, mentoring and knowledge transfer on customs matters to colleagues and stakeholders. - Act as primary contact for customs issues within the company, advising operational teams. - Manage relationships with authorities, external service providers, suppliers and logistics sites. - Initiate and apply “Leading Practice” approaches, fostering creativity and autonomy in initiatives. Qualifications - Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Customs Administration or equivalent, or comparable vocational training with relevant experience. - In‑depth experience with customs authorisations and procedures of economic significance (e.g., customs warehousing, shipping procedures). - Strong project‑management skills and proven track record of managing complex process improvements. - Fluent in German and English with excellent communication abilities. - Proactive, pragmatic, resilient and able to drive initiatives to completion.
