Senior Customs Manager (all genders)

Role: Senior Customs Manager (all genders) responsible for import and export customs processes, ensuring successful customs checks, maintaining high quality, and leading projects and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities: - Manage import and export customs activities. - Conduct and support customs inspections. - Ensure process quality and compliance. - Lead and contribute to cross‑functional projects and initiatives for process optimisation. - Act as point of contact for customs matters within the company, advising colleagues on complex topics. - Share customs knowledge through training and mentoring. - Coordinate with authorities, external service providers, suppliers and logistics sites. - Foster team effectiveness in a cross‑functional environment. Qualifications: - Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Customs Administration or comparable apprenticeship with relevant practical experience. - In‑depth knowledge of customs procedures (e.g., customs warehousing, export procedures) and licensing. - Strong project‑management skills. - Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication abilities. - Proven track record of managing complex process improvements and implementations. - Proactive, pragmatic, resilient and able to drive initiatives independently.
