Electronic Data Interchange Leader (m/f/d)

Our B2B/EDI (electronic data interchange) Community covers the implementation, support and evolution of all communication exchange business flows related to external partners (e.g. customer, supplier, forwarder).
The Community leader’s mission is to facilitate and coordinate the activities of the community and to be the key liaison between internal business sites and our customers for all EDI requirements.

Your Responsibilities

  • You regularly review upcoming customer projects, qualification, follow up and relay to team
  • You understand customer platforms
  • You are responsible for supplier management (ie. Axway, GXS, Covisint, Beo, WSW…)
  • You actively scan for relevant innovations and new technologies to identify further potential for improvement on current and future EDI systems
  • You ensure escalation with the business
  • You will lead a team with 5 members based in Germany, US and France
  • You will be responsible for supporting EDI topics on SAP platform (OTC and P2P), as well as implementing customer applications (ie. TSB Generator [VW]) following B2B related policies coming from the local laws
  • You will be responsible for ensuring problem solving and training business users on specific platform application (ie Discovery, other control tower apps)

Your Qualification

  • You have an IT technical education or university degree
  • You gained EDI administration experience and/or a leader background
  • You have technical kledge concerning EDI integration technologies, connectivity, and related business applications
  • You show experience working in a global IT organization
  • You are a collaborative team player with strong communication skills and an analytical and solution-oriented personality
  • You can lead and influence a global team in a non-hierarchical model
  • You would be willing to travel occasionally
  • You enjoy working as an integral part of an internationally operating, innovative and dynamic team
  • You are fluent in English and German (French would be a plus)
