Throwing something away should be simple, shouldn’t it? Just throw your rubbish in the bin and forget about it right? Well, things aren’t quite so simple in Germany.

How to get rid of your rubbish in Germany

While you might think that throwing away your rubbish and recycling is a somewhat simple endeavour, there are several things you need to be aware of in Germany. Germans love to recycle and, unsurprisingly, there is a process for disposing of anything and everything. There are also bins for each and every different type of recyclable, which are usually found outside your apartment or house.
