Choosing the right school is an important decision. Visiting a school in person gives families the opportunity to explore its learning environment, meet the people behind it and get a feel for everyday school life.

On Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 10am–12pm, BBIS Berlin Brandenburg International School invites families to its Primary School Open Morning in Kleinmachnow, just southwest of Berlin.

Parents and children are welcome to explore the school together, take part in engaging activities and discover what learning at BBIS looks like.

Experience BBIS first-hand

The Primary School Open Morning offers families the opportunity to experience BBIS in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

Explore classrooms and learning spaces, take part in engaging activities with your child and meet the principal and members of the Primary School team.

You'll also have the opportunity to learn more about the IB Primary Years Programme, hear about the school's approach to learning and ask questions about everyday school life. Whether you're already living in the Berlin-Brandenburg region or considering a move, the morning is a chance to get to know the school and its international community.

Discover an international approach to learning

BBIS is an international day and boarding school located in Kleinmachnow, just southwest of Berlin. The school welcomes children and young people aged 3-19 from both local and international families.

As an IB World School, BBIS offers a child-centred, inquiry-based education that places equal value on academic learning, wellbeing and personal development. In the Primary School, children follow the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), which encourages curiosity, independent thinking and collaboration.

Children are supported in asking questions, exploring ideas and developing an understanding of the world around them. Alongside academic learning, the school places importance on helping children build confidence, independence and a sense of belonging.

BBIS's green campus, caring community and experienced teachers provide an environment where children can feel safe, supported and ready to learn.
