Celebrate as two renowned magazines reach new heights

Two well-known Berlin-based cultural magazines, tipBerlin and The Berliner, have reason to celebrate! tipBerlin now has over 300K Instagram followers at @tipBerlin, and the English-language magazine The Berliner will publish its 250th issue at the end of May!

They warmly invite you to join them on May 28 to celebrate these two joyous occasions at the legendary former King Size Bar! Each began as a magazine, growing over time into a vibrant community - and that is exactly what this evening is all about.

The programme features DJ sets by Amy Dabbs, Mark Reeder and Andrea Ditadi and others, as well as a fire show by Charlie Bouquett and live illustrations by Sophia Halamoda. The party will also feature some amazing drinks, magazines and - above all - the community itself.

Amy Dabbs

Amy is a Londoner living in Berlin. She’s a resident of the prominent Berlin club Renate, a regular on Rinse FM, and has released on Aus Music, Heist, Shall Not Fade and her own label Dabbs Traxx. Ranging between genres, from house to jungle tracks, Amy is renowned for her high-energy, emotive sets. @amy_dabbs

Mark Reeder

Berlin-based Mark Reeder is a label owner, musician, producer and DJ. He is influenced by many different genres, including electronic, house, punk and experimental. He made a name for himself in the industry and is now something of a legend after all these years. @markreeder.mfs

Andrea Ditadi

Andrea Ditadi, AKA Andrea_D, has been a DJ for more than 20 years and is a pioneer of Shanghai’s early 2000s dance music movement. He is known for his iconic uplifting, high-energy sets, bringing the best of classic house onto the dancefloor. @dj_andread
