World Equestrian Festival
The International Federation for Equestrian Sports is bringing one of its Official International Equestrian Competitions (CHIO) to Aachen at the end of May, 2026. The CHIO - or, much rather, the TSCHIO, as said in the regional dialect - at the Allianz Park in Aachen is part of a long-lasting tradition of the World Equestrian Festival, bringing together the horseriding community, and now you as well!
The Rolex Grand Prix 2026
Rolex's deep involvement in the equestrian sport has now produced four major events across Europe. As part of the Rolex Grand Slam, the Grand Prix in jumping, which involves 40 athletes, of whom 18 will qualify for the second round, is coming to Aachen on May 24. Traditionally, the Grand Prix is the centre of the World Equestrian Festival in Aachen, and usually the busiest time at the Festival. Beyond the grand competition, there is much more to see.
Competitions at the World Equestrian Festival
The festival focuses on the discipline of jumping, featuring many unique and interesting events. Among them are the Prize of Soers, a special two-phase jumping competition, as well as events for young horses, additional timed events, and jump-offs.
Concert "Horse & Symphony"
This unique open-air experience at the Main Stadium will debut in 2026. Chief Conductor Christopher Ward, in the company of the Aachen Symphony Orchestra, is taking to the stage to deliver the audience a performance of the greatest James Bond hits, as spectators get to watch the horse show on the grounds.
