Admissions open at Berlin Montessori School for 2022
The next school year starts for first graders on August 29, 2022, and the Montessori School at Berlin Wannsee still has some spaces available for international kids or children with Montessori backgrounds.
The school’s work is based on the experience and guiding principles of the Italian education reformer, Dr Maria Montessori. Her teaching methods and materials - which encourage a child-led form of education - have been successfully used around the world for over 100 years.
A place for your child to play, learn and grow
The Berlin Wannsee school has a team of Montessori educators with recognised qualifications, and teaching rooms equipped with superb Montessori materials to support children with their activities.
The school is international - and bilingual! Students come from all over the world, and many grow up in bilingual families. Both German and English speaking educators use the immersion method when they communicate with the children. The same goes for the bilingual Kinderhaus am Wannsee, which children attend from the age of three until they start school. The Kinderhaus is on the same campus, directly opposite the school.
The all-day primary school is open between 7.30am and 6pm. Between 8.30am and 3.30pm the children are taught in learning groups. During their free time, they can choose between sailing, yoga, painting, and many other activities that are on offer. The students soon feel that the school becomes their home away from home.
