Aldi is selling ice cream for 50 cents per scoop outside six of its supermarkets across Germany. Here’s where and when you can get some:
The German supermarket chain Aldi (both Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd) has announced that it will sell ice cream at just 50 cents per scoop outside select stores during early July.
The company is sending its ice cream stands on tour, with proceeds going to an as-yet-unspecified “good cause”. Aldi also hasn’t revealed which flavours will be on sale at the stands, but with the average cost of a scoop of ice cream in Germany coming in at 1,80 euros, the Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis of an Aldi scoop surely can’t leave a bitter taste.
Outside the following Aldi branches, on the following days, customers will be able to buy an ice cream (in a cone or in a pot) between 2pm and 6pm:
Guten Appetit!
