Producers of "Dark" announce new Netflix original series

Were you a fan of the Netflix hit series Dark? Us too! Well, you’ll be pleased to hear that the show’s producers have been working on another mind-bending series, due to be released in early 2021. And that’s not the only German-language Netflix original series dropping next year…

Tribes of Europa: Coming February 2021

Building upon the success of German-language hits like Dark and Barbarians, streaming giant Netflix has commissioned a whole bunch of new original content that will be coming to screens in 2021. Top of the bill is Tribes of Europa, a six-part dystopian sci-fi series from the producers of Dark, Quirin Berg and Max Wiedemann, that will be available to stream globally from February 19, 2021.

Set in 2070 in a post-apocalyptic Europe, the series follows the adventures of three siblings, who stumble upon a crashed spaceship and pull a mysterious cube from its wreckage. Their discovery puts them right in the middle of a raging conflict between the tribes that are now battling for control of the devastated continent. Intrigued? New German Netflix Originals coming in 2021

But Tribes of Europa isn’t the only thing we’ve got to look forward to next year. Netflix is also debuting two German original movies, Blood Red Sky and Black Island, both of which look suitably dark and entertaining. 2021 will also see the arrival of a few new original TV shows, including Kitz, which has been billed as an Austrian version of Gossip Girl, and Das Hausboot, a comedy reality show following a hapless duo as they attempt to renovate a houseboat.

Also making a comeback include old time favourites How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) and Biohackers
