Advertising Sales Manager - Digital Business (m/f/d)

The Advertising Sales Manager (m/f/d) in DACH will be expected to identify, engage and cement partnerships in order to expand and diversify offered content. The candidate should be a strong, deal-oriented professional who can source, prospect and structure content marketing deals independently.

Your Responsibility

  • You will sell multiple products to customers (m/f/d) by finding the right stakeholders for each product without deviating from a coherent product message and overall strategy
  • You'll manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business close rates and booked revenues
  • You will work closely with the Country Manager and the broader sales team to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets
  • You will manage customer expectations through collaboration with the account management team, ensuring successful campaign management
  • You will communicate information from the field to the product management teams in regard to development functions
  • You will independently build a large pipeline of leads, follow up and close deals
  • You make presentations, build relationships, and negotiate contracts in the German marketplace

Your Profile

  • You can demonstrate fluent/bilingual or at least professional German skills
  • You have at least 2 years of professional experience in advertising sales, preferably at a digital media company working with DACH clients
  • You score with an understanding of digital technology and the revenue ecosystem and have the ability to explain product benefits in this context
  • You have good connections with media vendors
  • You are experienced in structuring and negotiating contracts, especially in the digital media space
  • You bring a real passion for online content and a strong sales orientation with the ability to build strategic partnerships
  • You show strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data and in generated reports
  • You have excellent technological skills and the ability to quickly learn what is needed to support the campaigns successful implementation and optimization
  • You have the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and learn!
