Senior Product Designer - Propositions (all genders)

Role Senior Designer (based in Berlin) – part of Zalando’s Proposition Teams responsible for building remarkable, customer‑centred experiences across multiple assortments such as Sports, Beauty, Kids, Recommerce and Designer. Responsibilities - Drive improvement of multiple proposition experiences through customer‑centred design and data‑backed decisions. - Design and deliver innovative, cross‑cutting customer experiences that increase multi‑proposition adoption. - Apply research practices to understand customer needs and assess design solutions. - Maintain a collaborative design approach, working seamlessly with Engineering, Product Management, Commercial teams and fellow Designers. - Manage own work, influence senior stakeholders and communicate design direction clearly. - Contribute to inclusive design principles, considering diverse needs especially for Sports, Kids and Beauty customers. Qualifications - Strong visual craft and UX skills; experienced with mature design systems and accessibility. - Good understanding of UX copywriting best practices. - Ability to tackle ambiguous problems through end‑to‑end customer journeys. - Experience leading user research and integrating business and other perspectives into design. - Proven cross‑discipline collaboration and stakeholder management. - Excellent verbal and written communication; confident presenting to large audiences and facilitating workshops. - Interest in AI‑backed design, partnering with data‑science teams and leveraging emerging technologies.
