About this role
A Japanese machine tool manufacturer with a history of over 100 years is currently seeking Service Technicians / Service Engineers (m/f/d) for its German subsidiary located near Frankfurt.
The company is a global leader in the field of high-quality grinding machines and related equipment, with a network of subsidiaries and sales organizations in more than 70 countries. It operates its own production facilities in Japan, Singapore, and Thailand.
The German entity has been responsible for the European market since 1992, handling the sales, assembly, and maintenance of precision products across the EU, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
Job Responsibilities
- Independent assembly, commissioning, and functional testing of our products and their components
- Providing user training to customers
- Performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work independently
- Supporting the company at trade fairs and exhibitions
Job Requirements
- Fluency in both English and Japanese at a business level is required; German language skills would be an advantage
- Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, or equivalent qualification in mechanics
- Professional experience, ideally including CNC knowledge
- Qualification in electrical work or electronic knowledge
- Alternatively, strong willingness to learn, which we actively support
- High level of service mindset and quality awareness
- Ability to work in an international team; English skills are required
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for customer assignments
