Accounting Assistant(Part time) (m/f/d)

OVERVIEW A Japanese manufacturer specializing in products related to semiconductor manufacturing equipment is seeking a Part-Time Accounting Specialist (30 hours per week). The company currently operates primarily in the semiconductor and medical sectors. In this role, you will join the accounting team in Düsseldorf and be responsible for a broad range of accounting and finance-related activities. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ・Handle day-to-day accounting operations ・Enter accounting data into the accounting system ・Manage various financial data and prepare related documentation ・Perform recurring monthly tasks, including accrual postings ・Prepare P&L and Balance Sheet reports for the headquarters in Japan ・Support the consolidation and coordination of reports from European offices ・Communicate with overseas subsidiaries and the headquarters in Japan ・Support the operation and maintenance of accounting systems and processes ・Operate and maintain the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) ・Process accounting transactions in accordance with German HGB standards ・Support financial data management and data quality improvement initiatives JOB REQUIREMENTS ・Mandatory Requirements ・Business-level proficiency in German ・Valid work authorization in Germany ・Ability to work on-site at the office ・Preferred Qualifications ・Practical experience in accounting ・Experience in General Accounting ・Experience using ERP systems ・Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications ・Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately and thoroughly BENEFITS ・Annual salary package based on 13.5 months' salary ・Flexible working hours available
