Junior Risk Manager (all genders)- 6 months contract

Role: Junior Risk Manager (all genders) - 6 months contract Team: You will be part of the GR team, supporting the identification and evaluation of risks and opportunities as part of six-monthly risk assessments, and supporting the ongoing development of risk management and business continuity management. Responsibilities: - Work with various stakeholders to understand business context and risk-relevant information, and contribute to developing the risk report. - Support the implementation of a solution and measure it against success criteria (e.g., customer feedback). - Plan, prepare, and support risk workshops for the entire Zalando Group. - Support in maintaining the risk catalog and documentation of controls and countermeasures. - Support in maintaining and conducting risk analysis. - Support in preparation of risk reports for Zalando top management. - Support in improving the risk management system (RMS). - Support in optimizing Business Continuity Management (BCM). Qualifications: - Completed studies in Business Administration, Economics, or a similar field. - At least first professional experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment. - Broad understanding of business processes (logistics, marketing, procurement, IT development) and knowledge of practice-relevant standards such as IDW PS 981, ISO 31000, IDW PS 982, and ISO 22301. - Proficient written and verbal skills in both German and English. - Customer-centric approach and ability to flag continuous improvement initiatives. - Active interest in market trends.
