Operative Procurement – Work student (all genders)

Role As an Operative Procurement – Work student (all genders) you will join the Finance Operations P2P Operative Procurement team, supporting operational activities of indirect goods and services procurement in close collaboration with business units and various stakeholders. Responsibilities - Procure goods and services for orders up to €150k, aligning with requestors and providing regular status updates. - Support internal users and collaborate with Ops Buyers on procurement requests across IT, professional services, corporate & consulting services, employee services, and event management. - Manage Business Units' IT requests in JIRA, bridging gaps between requestors and reviewers such as InfoSec, Legal, and application experts. - Operate the Request‑to‑Order process in Coupa within the indirect procurement policy. - Support users on P2P products (eCatalogs, vCards, marketplaces, blanket PO, one‑time vendor) and drive efficiency measures. - Contribute to cross‑team initiatives and assist requesters on P2P as needed. Qualifications - Studies in business, management, finance, IT or engineering. - Interest in procurement, buying and supply‑chain topics with initial negotiation experience. - Proficiency with Google Sheets, Docs, Slides and MS Office, especially Excel. - Detail‑oriented, self‑driven and able to work independently with a hands‑on attitude. - Flexible, reliable and supportive in various tasks. - Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus. - Ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments, collaborate proactively and find practical solutions. - Strong motivation for processes, tools and numbers.
