Role Senior Risk Manager – Zalando Payments (ZPS) Responsibilities - Drive the Risk Inventory process, integrating ESG factors into the overall risk profile. - Support development and monitoring of the risk shielding concept. - Facilitate risk workshops to promote a proactive risk culture. - Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis for extreme events. - Prepare forward‑looking risk reports for the ZPS Management Board and external regulators. - Lead risk assessments for new products, markets and significant changes, ensuring risks are understood and mitigated before go‑live. Qualifications - Completed studies in Economics, Finance, Law or a related field. - 2–3 years of professional experience in a similar risk management role, preferably in an international environment. - Strong organisational and communication skills, able to interact with stakeholders at various hierarchical levels. - Broad understanding of business and finance processes (order‑to‑cash, IT development, payments) and familiarity with standards such as ZAG MaRisk, DORA, the AI Act. - Full professional proficiency in English; German is a strong advantage.
