Relationship Manager(m/f/d)

An international bank is seeking a Relationship Manager to join its Japanese Corporate Banking Division in Düsseldorf, Germany. The team supports Japanese corporate clients across various industries by providing financing solutions, credit services, and relationship management within the European market.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage relationships with Japanese corporate clients
• Serve as the main point of contact for banking products and services
• Identify business opportunities and support expansion of existing business
• Conduct financial analysis and evaluate credit risk of clients
• Prepare and review credit applications, internal ratings, and lending proposals
• Collaborate with internal teams (credit, risk, operations) for smooth transactions
• Monitor client performance and market/industry developments
• Support loan renewals, amendments, and new financing arrangements
• Conduct sector and competitor analysis to assess client positioning
• Participate in client meetings and business development activities
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
• Experience in corporate banking, relationship management, or credit analysis
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance and credit risk assessment
• Ability to conduct financial analysis and prepare credit documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
