THE ROLE & THE TEAM

We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Tech Talent Acquisition Partner to join Zalando. In this role, you’ll take full ownership of a diverse and high-impact portfolio covering some of our business areas, such as Fashion Propositions Tech, Size & Fit and Partner-facing tech teams. As a key partner to the business, you’ll bring a vast expertise in the tech talent market, data-informed, hands-on approach to talent acquisition, combining active sourcing, strategic collaboration with employer branding, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding candidate experience.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • End-to-end recruitment: Take ownership of the entire recruitment journey in our tech areas, from initial strategy briefing with stakeholders and candidate interview screening through to complex offer negotiations and closing.

  • Direct sourcing expertise: build innovative strategies to proactively identify, attract, and engage top tech talents using a variety of channels, with a strong emphasis on direct sourcing through LinkedIn. You'll craft compelling outreach messages and build robust talent pipelines.

  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with existing recruitment teams and senior leaders across various business units. Your low-ego, high-collaboration approach will be key to understanding needs and delivering results.

  • Versatility: Masterfully manage full-cycle recruitment processes for a diverse range of tech roles in all seniority levels (Applied science, software engineering, data, product management), as well as some of our commercial positions, when needed (Analytics, business development etc.).

  • Champion Candidate Experience: Ensure every candidate interaction is positive and reflective of Zalando's employer brand and identify opportunities to improve this even further.

  • You’re a Seasoned Recruiter: You bring solid experience leading end-to-end hiring processes, ideally in the tech space. From shaping hiring strategies to closing offers, you know how to deliver.

  • You Know the Tech Talent Market Inside Out: You understand tech roles, skill sets, and market trends, and use that insight to guide hiring decisions and engage the right talent for our roles.

  • Sourcing Powerhouse: You're not just waiting for candidates to come to you. You consistently hire top talent through targeted outreach, especially via platforms like LinkedIn.

  • You Build Strong Partnerships: You’ve built trusted, effective relationships with hiring managers, interviewers, HRBPs, and cross-functional teams—and know how to keep everyone aligned and informed.

  • You Own It: You’re proactive, solutions-oriented, and thrive in fast-changing environments. You take initiative, operate with a high level of professionalism, and get things done without being asked twice.

  • You Collaborate with Ease: You bring a low-ego, team-first attitude. You listen, adapt, and co-create with stakeholders—earning trust and delivering value at every step.
