What You'll Do

SAP Cloud Infrastructure runs SAP's global IaaS for Lines of Business and external customers — It powers SAP's production systems and thousands of customer environments running mission-critical applications. Because SCI sits at this foundation, trust is non-negotiable: customers, regulators, and auditors expect it to be demonstrably secure and compliant at all times. That's where we come in. As the first-line Compliance Engineering team, we make sure SAP Cloud Infrastructure meets its regulatory and security obligations — not as an afterthought, but built into how the platform is engineered and operated.

As a Info Security Compliance Expert, you'll shape how we do compliance: you set direction on complex topics, mentor others, and drive the approach across two connected fields — running the compliance operation and engineering it to scale:

Compliance Operations

• Act as lead for preparation, conduct and closure of audits end-to-end, and steer audit follow-up activities to completion across teams.
• Design the evidence-collection approach and act as point of contact for internal and external compliance-related inquiries.
• Coordinate the onboarding of new standards and the uplift of existing ones.

Compliance Engineering

• Translate complex compliance requirements into technical or process implementations for SAP Cloud Infrastructure, and set the patterns others follow.
• Identify strategic improvement potential for evidence production and collection, and prioritize it into the team's roadmap.
• Define and drive a generic, configurable compliance approach to enable automation at scale.
• Apply AI capabilities to raise the team's productivity.

What You Bring

• Extensive experience in information security compliance, with deep hands-on exposure to certifications and frameworks such as PCI DSS, C5, CCPS and ISO standards (e.g. ISO 27001).
• A strong track record leading audit preparation, evidence handling, or control evaluation — ideally in a cloud or large-scale infrastructure context.
• Solid technical understanding and the ability to engage engineers on the SAP Cloud Infrastructure landscape as a peer.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills — you're the credible point of contact for auditors, engineers and management alike.
• Proven ability to introduce and scale AI tools in compliance and engineering work.
