Join SAP in Walldorf as an IT Product Manager focused on International Trade Compliance. In this hybrid role, you’ll lead the strategy and delivery of mission‑critical export control capabilities across SAP’s digital product portfolio. You’ll work at the intersection of legal, operations, and engineering to ensure our global trade compliance systems are robust, responsive, and future‑ready

What you bring

  • Proven expertise in trade compliance, particularly export control regulations
  • Strong background in SAP GTS and BIS, with experience in complex system integrations
  • Ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into actionable technical specifications
  • Senior stakeholder management skills across legal, operations, and engineering teams
  • A risk‑aware mindset that balances operational efficiency with regulatory precision
  • Familiarity with cloud migration strategies and compliance‑critical workflows

  • Integrated solution landscapes including SAP GTS, BIS, and custom systems to govern licenses, downloads, and cloud services — ensuring seamless compliance
  • Outcome‑focused roadmaps that align regulatory needs with operational goals — driving strategic technology investments
  • Rapid response mechanisms to sanctions updates and regulatory changes — maintaining system stability and legal alignment
  • Cross‑functional delivery coordination with architects, process experts, and vendors — enabling timely execution of portfolio deliverables
  • Compliance risk management frameworks — mitigating exposure to financial penalties and reputational damage
