Junior Full-stack Developer (f/m/d)

What you’ll do

Joining a highly skilled and experienced team, you will work at the intersection of Cloud, AI, and DevOps to create value within SAP’s AI ecosystem. As a developer, your tasks will include:

• Building tools and services to help internal teams leverage the powers of AI as easily as possible
• Contributing features to SAP’s AI Core platform
• Participating in front-runner and proof-of-concept projects
• Driving integration across SAP’s portfolio with a focus on AI

While the role is focused on AI, you will not train AI models, run data science experiments nor develop custom AI solutions. Instead, this role should be understood as a Cloud Engineering position shaping a platform, which offers AI capabilities.

What you bring

We are looking for candidates that meet the following criteria:

• 0-2 years of experience in professional software development
• Experience with object-oriented programming, common data structures and algorithms
• Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Python, Java
• Basic knowledge about version control systems like git

Additionally, you should have good communication skills. With changing projects and requirements, you should embrace curiosity and the eagerness to learn about new concepts and novel technologies in the context of Cloud Native, Distributed Systems and AI.

This position will require regular attendance at SAP’s Innovation Center in Potsdam.

Our team develops functionalities of the Generative AI Hub and acts as an integral part of the SAP Business AI area. We are driven by our mission to integrate the latest technology in AI into all our enterprise applications, thereby empowering our customers to maximize the potential of their business data.

You will work with a highly skilled team that is based in Potsdam collaborating with other teams in Germany, India and Singapore.
