About this role

Role Partner Support Tech Consultant – The role supports the execution engine for technology and automation within Zalando's Partner Care team. Partner Care is the operational backbone for brands, retailers, and merchants on the Zalando platform, handling a large volume of partner interactions. The consultant works alongside the Principal Technical Consultant to translate high‑level technology vision into hands‑on optimisation of Salesforce Service Cloud and enterprise automation platforms. Responsibilities 1. CRM functional optimisation – act as expert and functional backup for Salesforce Service Cloud, configure page layouts, validation rules, user views and Salesforce Flows, and drive deployment of the Agentforce suite to improve vendor operations and partner satisfaction. 2. Automation liaison and technical execution – serve as technical point of contact between Partner Care and central engineering on automation technologies (N8N, RPA), own delivery of medium‑complexity automation packages from definition to deployment, and translate business problems into technical specifications, Jira stories and tickets. 3. Cross‑functional project leadership – design and optimise processes across Partner Care domains with focus on automation, replace manual solutions with integrated ecosystem solutions, coordinate UAT cycles and manage releases to ensure new workflows meet business outcomes. 4. Data diagnostics and operational enablement – apply statistical analysis to ticketing data to identify bottlenecks, build and maintain Salesforce analytics dashboards and reporting, and provide technical mentorship and documentation to drive internal software adoption. Qualifications - 3+ years professional experience in technical consulting, system administration or tech‑focused process engineering, preferably in e‑commerce or large‑scale marketplace environments. - Hands‑on experience configuring Salesforce Service Cloud (Flows, validation rules, architecture layouts); Salesforce AI tools (Einstein, Agentforce) are a plus. - Experience with automation frameworks such as RPA tools or N8N. - Proficiency in Agile/Scrum delivery, backlog management and Jira. - Familiarity with process‑mapping tools (Signavio, Lucidchart, BPMN) is advantageous. - Strong analytical skills using SQL, Salesforce CRM Analytics or basic statistical models to quantify impact. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Preferred certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder or Service Cloud Consultant.
