What you’ll build

You develop, maintain, and support one of the most widely used database interfaces within the SAP NetWeaver technology stack, enabling seamless connectivity between SAP systems and Oracle databases. This interface is built using C and leveraging latest technologies and AI-assisted development tools to ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability on multiple OS platforms. Your work plays a critical role in the global economy: the processing of business transactions for SAP customers worldwide depends on the robustness and efficiency of this component. As a long-term commitment to operational excellence and resilience, you will ensure that data flows and persists with high quality across the deeper layers of the SAP stack.

You will also contribute to:

• Oracle database administration tools
• Oracle-specific monitoring infrastructure
• Integration and quality assurance of new features

What you bring

• 3+ years of work experience with SAP technologies and databases, preferably Oracle, with a proven track record in developing and maintaining software projects.
• Open to work with complex and large-scale IT systems and architectures.
• Bachelor/Master preferable in computer science, natural sciences, or related fields or comparable experience w. apprenticeship degree.
• Solid experience in programming with C or related languages, ideally DB‑agnostic programming.
• Deep knowledge of Operating Systems Linux/Unix and/or Windows.
• Solid experience in database administration and architecture, preferably Oracle.
• Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver, openness to deep dive into SAP’s technology.
• Service‑oriented and customer‑focused.
• Fluent communication in English and German required, due to significant documentation resources in both languages.
