At IES Customer Success Innovation and Development, our mission is to craft cutting-edge tools that empower customer success. We specialize in delivering innovative AI solutions and are at the forefront of implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technologies.

Beyond RAG, we're actively exploring and advancing in areas such as document grounding and AI evaluation frameworks. Currently, we are working on a Proof of Concept (PoC) for a workflow management tool to assist with re-organizational projects in SAP. Looking ahead to 2026, we're focused on agentic AI implementation.

What you’ll build:

Position title: SAP Strategy & Operations iXp Intern (f/m/d) – Full Stack Developer

Work Area: Software-Design and Development

Location: Walldorf

Expected start date: November 1, 2025

In this role, you’ll:

As a Full Stack Developer in our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions. In your role, you will closely with our developers and product owners, covering all phases of our ongoing projects:

  • Participate in daily Scrum Meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to understand tool requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Gain hands-on experience with development processes for prototypes and tools aligned with SAP’s cloud solutions.
  • Learn and apply AI technologies to enhance product capabilities.
  • Manage product backlogs and drive continuous improvement of newly developed applications
  • Engage in software design, development, and implementation in a cloud environment.
  • Work with modern technologies, including GenAI, Machine Learning, CAP, SAP UI5, and other relevant frameworks.

What you bring:

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences in a STEM field in Germany, bachelor’s or master’s level
  • Core Java and OOP: A deep understanding of Java's core features is essential
  • Familiarity with cloud software development tools like Git
  • English required, German is a plus
  • Familiarity with SAP technologies is a plus: BTP (Cloud Foundry and Kyma runtimes), CAP, HANA
